PROGRAMS
Mentor Program & Sessions
We have different Mentors come to the facility and talk to the youth about their line of work and set up circle sessions for the youth to ask questions. We then have Goal oriented activities with the kids, facilitated by the Mentor. When available, we have field trips to the Mentor’s work place so that the youth will get the chance to see what that particular profession entails.
Mentors include the following: Doctors, Lawyers, Entertainers (singers, dancers, actors, comedians, ect…), Musicians, Teachers, Nurses, Life Coaches, and anyone that can speak life into our youth. [+]
